Begin with the colours in your printer, then inspect the whole model before creating a print file.
Colour selection, 3D previews and model preparation stay free. Creating and sharing print files uses the same one-time €1.99 export purchase as other exports. The App Store displays your regional price.
Tell the app what is loaded
Open Colours & printing. Choose your printer and match each slot to its actual filament colour before continuing. The current presets use PLA and 0.4 mm nozzles: four tools for Snapmaker U1, or five for Prusa XL 5T.
These choices are saved for that printer. Use Change loaded filaments whenever you change a spool.
Review colours in 3D
Switch between Print colours and Original scan. Drag to rotate, pinch to zoom, and inspect every side.
People colours groups suggested body and clothing regions. Select a part, inspect it close up and choose a filament or blend. Refine or touch up a boundary where the suggestion misses a beard, cuff, shoulder or clothing edge. Suggested regions are editable, not guaranteed segmentation.
Full Spectrum offers predicted colours made from pairs of your loaded filaments. The printer alternates their use between layers; it does not mix pigments inside a nozzle. The preview is an estimate. Material opacity, layer height, lighting and the actual spools influence the physical result.
Set the size and flatten the feet
Choose the miniature’s final print height. This is separate from the scan’s real-world size.
Flatten feet trims uneven soles, closes the new cut surfaces and places them on the print bed. Start with a small trim and inspect the result. The app reports contact areas and keeps the selected final height; your original scan is preserved.
If a cut cannot be closed reliably, choose another trim. A flat base does not repair other holes or guarantee that a tall model is stable.
Choose a layer height
The U1 options include 0.08 mm, 0.10 mm and 0.20 mm with the current 0.4 mm nozzle profile. Finer layers can help small details and increase print time. Check the layer preview alongside the full 3D model.
Create the file you need
Export colour 3MF creates a project with the same colour assignments shown in the preview. Open it in a compatible desktop slicer when you want to inspect or adjust the project further.
Slice on this iPhone generates G-code locally using the selected printer and material profile. Keep the app open during slicing. Inspect toolpaths, supports, tool changes and printer settings before transferring the file to the matching printer. The app does not automatically send a print job.
Try a small print with your actual filaments before committing to a large miniature. Native slicing has been exercised on iPhone; a successful file export is different from a validated physical print.
